
Anatomy
In this department, training is given for undergraduate students (I BHMS) in the subject of human anatomy. The department imparts education aimed at knowing the structure of human body from the microscopic level of cells and tissues to the macroscopic level of organs and systems. It is a core subject in medical education, providing the foundation for understanding physiology, pathology and clinical practice. The department train the students in the subject, which is essential for the homoeopathic physician for making accurate diagnosis, can identify abnormalities or diseases by understanding normal anatomy and interpreting medical imaging etc.











Salient features
Department includes HOD room, a faculty room, dissection cum demonstration hall, museum, department library, attender room.
Teaching & training materials :- Cadavers (4 in no), 85” interactive board computer, microscope, skeletal system(2), specimens, models, charts(laminated & rexine), bone sets(loose), histology slides & x-ray.

Anatomy museum :- well established museum with wide collection of anatomical specimens, bones, models, laminated & rexine charts.
Dissection hall :- fully outfitted with dissection table, embalming instruments, supports required space for practical session with the capacity to accommodate 70 students at a time, includes a cadaver room containing two large storage tanks to hold cadavers.
Department library :- with 129 books including latest anatomy books.
