Govt. Homoeopathic
Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram
The Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram started functioning during 1980 as Dr. K. J. Issac, as the Principal. Then the college was affiliated to the University of Kerala and approved by the Central Council of Homoeopathy under the Department of AYUSH of Government of India. After the formation of Kerala university of Health Sciences(KUHS) the college is affiliated to KUHS.The College is owned by the Government of Kerala.
Established in 1983, GHMCT is Kerala’s first government homoeopathic medical college.
Affiliated with KUHS, it offers BHMS and MD courses in homoeopathy.
Equipped with a teaching hospital, the college focuses on education, research, and patient care.
