Materia Medica is the backbone of Homoeopathy solely dealing with homoeopathic medicines. The Department of MateriaMedica functioning in Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram conduct OP clinics from Monday to Saturday (08.00 am to 01.00 pm). An ENT special OP is attached on Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and a special Thyroid OP is on Saturdays.

SRAVYA ENT special OP diagnose and treat Ear, Nose and Throat diseases effectively in Homoeopathy within modern technology. Clinical services (OP&IP), Hearing tests, Speech therapy, On-call Consultation of ENT Surgeon, Rhinoscopy& Flexible Laryngoscopy (Endoscopic examinations of Ear, Nose & Throat), community medical camps, public awareness programmes, research activities, academic and clinical experiences.

This speciality OP is providing treatment and special care for patients suffering from thyroid disorders like hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, thyroiditis and even CA thyroid. All investigations for diagnosing thyroid disorders are also done in the hospital
