World Homoeopathy Day
The Government Homoeopathic Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, celebrated World Homoeopathy Day from April 7–10, 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. The events were inaugurated by Principal Dr. T.K. Vijayan, with retired Professor & HOD Dr. Venugopal as Chief Guest, who spoke on the role of homoeopathy in integrative medicine.
Highlights included an Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign, essay and quiz competitions, a scientific session, extempore speeches, and a drug picture competition, engaging UG, intern, and PG students. The programme combined academic enrichment with social responsibility.
The celebrations concluded with prize distribution and a commitment to advancing homoeopathy through education and public health initiatives.
